Xindayang Group (XDY), built in 2001, is an experienced firm specializing in the production of new generation clean transportation equipment, and has since achieved recognitions for being an innovative modern enterprise leading new energy development trends for the transportation industry. Wholly Owned Subsidiary of XDY
Shandong Xindayang Electric Vehicle is the wholly owned subsidiary of XDY. It is building on its core competencies in control technologies to penetrate the new energy automotive industry, and is committed to the R&D, production, sale and service of eco-friendly transportation vehicles. The gross investment for its Micro-Travel Electric Vehicle program is $496 million with a planned annual capacity of 300,000 vehicles on a 1.33sqkm site. The program will be executed in two phases; the first phase with gross investments of $294 million and a planned annual manufacturing capacity of 150,000 vehicles on a 0.66sqkm site.
New Product: ZhiDou ZD
Utilizing matured technologies in automotive manufacturing as basis and the integrated efforts of experienced engineers from Fiat, EDI top-down design approach, and expertise contributed by local enterprises and renowned schools, the team jointly developed the ZhiDou ZD in eight years, incorporating a light vehicle body and a customized chassis specially designed for applications of electric vehicles.
Applications and Features of Products
The ZD was developed based on creative customized manufacturing technologies for electric vehicles with the battery as the core system, and main assembly and sub assembly modules designed with holistic considerations for market expectations, human factors and ergonomics, structure, space and features/functions, maneuverability, driveability, energy optimization and cost, to achieve objectives set out for an automobile. The EMC, braking, steering and other features fully satisfy the criteria set out by EEC regulations.
